"I spent eight years at InterContinental Hotels Group - five in sustainability, three in procurement - alongside a decade in finance and commercial pricing. That combination taught me two things: how to build rigorous, audit-ready carbon data at scale, and exactly what it costs businesses when compliance gets in the way of growth.
When PPN 006 came into force, it became clear that most of the tools available to SMEs were either too expensive, too generic, or placed an enormous administrative burden on already-stretched teams. The compliance requirement was real but the solutions weren't built for businesses at that scale.
CarbonSync exists to change that. I bring the same data rigour I built at IHG to UK SMEs - faster, more transparently, and at a price that makes commercial sense."
